| Nº21C121 (modified Hornby see second photo on page 1) but viewed from the other side which is in 1948/9 condition as s21C121 and British Railways on the tender and has now received its nameplates. The effectiveness of the hand painted backscene can be seen. | ![]() |

A view of the house garden and vegetable patch. The imposing size of the combined water tower, dormitory and stores building can be seen. In reality the building at Salisbury was approximately a third longer than the model represents. The low relief houses on the left hand end of the backscene are from Langley kits whilst the houses at the right hand end are hand painted on the backscene. |
| A view of the coal stage with a newly painted T9 class (Wills kit) awaiting coaling. A couple of locomotive spotters have gained access to the shed and are taking a picture of Adams T1 class Nº10 being cleaned. In the foreground one of the WD 2-8-0s allocated to the Southern in 1946 can be seen (modified Bachmann). | ![]() |

A view of the front of the shed with classes T1, N, BoB, WC, MN, Leader, M7, H15 and Z in shot. |
| A view of the shed from the road end with the offices at the rear and main pedestrian entrance up the steps. Seen trying to bunk the shed and pass the timekeeper's office hatch under the archway is a representation of my father and a couple of school mates from his younger days. The large chimney on the right hand side of the shed is for the sand drying room. | ![]() |
