| Train set K - The Maunsell Three Coach Set For larger photos click on the images below. This Set K is the Maunsell three coach set. Not really a set, but runs as a train pulled by the Adams T3. When the LSWR set is renovated, the T3 will get that duty. Two coaches are wooden of CCW origin, with K2 scratch built of card on a balsa wood frame. |
| The T3 is not quite what it seems, it is not a 4-4-0, it's a 2-2-4-0! The rear bogie wheels are solid with the frame, the front are in a pony truck. This is so it will go round 6 foot radius curves without fouling the slide bars. However, you have to turn the loco upside down before this is apparent! |  |
