Warnham

Warnham Box Warnham Signalbox was the last on the line from Dorking to Horsham and is a typical LBSCR 'box. This was the view in September 1985.

And this was the view some two decades later. Warnham station was once kept very busy by the nearby Warnham Brickworks and controlled one of the few remaining wheel-worked sets of level crossing gates.

The workings for the level crossing gates. When the line's postponed re-signalling finally took place in 2005 this 'box was reduced in status to that of Gatebox.
