Warnham

Warnham Signalbox was the last on the line from Dorking
to Horsham and is a typical LBSCR 'box. This was the view in September
1985.

| And this was the view some two decades later. Warnham station
was once kept very busy by the nearby Warnham Brickworks and controlled one of
the few remaining wheel-worked sets of level crossing gates.

Showing some signs of needing more than a few new bricks of its
own! Warnham Signalbox had been shored up to make it last until such time as
the signalling of this line is updated.

| The workings for the level crossing gates. When the
line's postponed re-signalling finally took place in 2005 this 'box was
reduced in status to that of Gatebox.
