The Tunbridge Wells West 'A' Signalbox was
originally Nº1 and stands at the west end of Tunbridge Wells West station.
This was an early Southern Railway 'box which replaced an adjacent
LB&SCR 'box. Photographed in August 1983.

| The 'B' Signalbox, formerly Nº2 and still an
LB&SCR one, stood at the other end of the station layout where, as well as
the east end of the station, it controlled access to and from the single line
through the tunnel to Grove Junction and Tunbridge Wells station.

venture forth onto the single line and into the tunnel. These 'B'

| Unloved and vandalised! Photographed during October 1986, some
