Harmans Cross

Harmans Cross Harmans Cross Signalbox, was built by the current Swanage Railway and commissioned in 1997. Although recognisably L&SWR in style, it combines features of the L&SWR Types 1, 2 and 4 designs rather than being to one strict pattern.

Harmans Cross The layout is designed with bi-directional signalling on the Down loop, so that the box can be switched out - when the box is open the 'long section' train staff is locked into lever 3.
