Cooksbridge

Cooksbridge Cooksbridge Signalbox was a Saxby & Farmer design that dated back to 1872. It was erected at Cooksbridge circa 1875 and abolished on 13 February 1985 when control of the station's signalling passed to Lewes. During its last few years the station was unmanned and the Signlaman was responsible for issuing tickets. See our earlier photograph of this 'box on our Cooksbridge pages.
