Bexhill

Bexhill, originally Bexhill Central, Signalbox, photographed on 3 August 2003 whilst it was closed. The cabin is by Saxby and Farmer and has rounded corners to all the glazing. The frame is also S & F and has 17 levers - probably 18 levers originally, which was extended to about 23 levers and then reduced to what it is today. The 'box is manned Monday to Friday in two shifts of 7h 12m, closing out about 7.30pm (no nights) whilst Saturday is an overtime job photograph by Keith Harwood
