Barnham

Barnham Signalbox controls the junction for the Bognor Regis branch where it leaves the main line from Brighton to Chichester and Portsmouth Harbour. This view was taken in April 1985.

20-plus years later, 5th March 2006, the semaphores by the box have given way to colour lights, and the VEPs are long gone too. In the summer of 2008 the 'box was decommisioned and most of the contents removed. An attempt is being made to save the 'box.
