On page 4 of this section it was mentioned that the end was probably nigh for the buildings in the old goods yard. Alan Hooppell works adjacent to the station and says that in late summer 2002 he and his colleagues were somewhat distracted by the demolition of the old warehouses on the station site, as used by Blue Circle and others.
